Within a few seconds of every single video it is obvious how much passion and love you have for dance. I am not personally a dancer, yet I found it easy (and so much fun!) to join in and dance around with my kids. I can see the benefit of this program for family and friends for many different reasons. One friend is going to medical school and has limited time. My sister has 3 yo twins with a lot of energy, but is not always able to take them out of the house for classes. Not to mention that your model provides affordable services, normally priced much higher due to overhead costs.
The online courses offered at Joyful Heart Dance are a blast! For the first few minutes only grandma and I were up dancing, but very soon after my kids joined in (girl 5, boys 8 & 13) and we moved seamlessly through the website. They offer an inspiring range of courses, covering all ages and genders. I was able to find multiple classes for all three of my kids, as well as a few options for myself. One of my favorites is the party dance series, perfect for everyone together! The price is right for a full access, incredibly convenient, whole family online course. Ms. Amanda is a gem, delivering an outstanding experience full of passion for dance and movement!
This program is especially great when it’s too hot or too cold to be outside moving around! I love that my shy and self conscious child can do this at home without anyone watching! We have no dance background and he really likes it! We live on the outskirts of a big city where it would take 45 mins each way to drive to a class. This program is perfect for us because we do not need to travel! My son learned the chasse’ step and has been saying the step and doing it all around the house!

I worked at a Ballet Theater Department at a University. I saw what took place there. Even though I want my kids to experience and learn the formality of Ballet with posture and grace, I was scared for the ballet culture for my kids. My kids won’t have the ballet body. We really enjoy participating in the Joyful Heart online dance program. As a mom of 3 young boys, who often finds herself pulled in so many different directions, this is such a great opportunity to try a variety of dance and movement styles from the comfort of our living room.
There is plenty to choose from (even fitness dance for the mamas!) and everyone can jump in and give it a try! Ms. Amanda does a great job of clearly breaking down the steps and even has some “big kid” helpers at times, which my boys really found fun. This online program is really a unique opportunity for exposure to dance of all types and to see what peaks my kids’ interests. They have really enjoyed it and have asked to “do it again”! It has been a great opportunity to explore the dance and movement side of the arts in a fun way and I would highly recommend it to any family who is looking for a quality dance and movement program!

With so many dance studios out there, who may or may not exercise sound judgment in the type of music, style of costumes, or even the dance moves themselves that the kids are subjected to, it’s refreshing to find a studio and program that honors God and teaches students movement and dance in a way that shows respect for them and those around them.

All 3 of my kiddos participate in the Online class and love it! My little one, (just turned 3) loves dancing. She is obsessed with the American girl movie, Isabelle takes the spotlight, and had learned some of the moves to their "bff dance". Since your last class she has been pretending to be a mama and teaching her "kids" (any onlooker) to chasse’ and pencil spin.
Even my son loves it. Idk if you remember, but he's a wiggly boy with lots of energy, and the class keeps his attention well. We have not had our oldest in dance since she's been with you, although she has wanted to be... She's always trying to choreograph her own dances and get her friends involved, so she was so eager to have class with you again I had no idea how it would all work, but it was easy enough to figure out. The process went very well. In general, the class was nice for me because I was finishing up my planning for teaching the next day and the kiddos were completely occupied. My husband and I periodically checked in with them as the class went on.

Amanda has taught dance, tumbling, fitness, cheer, and music & movement to hundreds of students in various settings!
Joyful Heart Dance began in her living room in 2011 and grew to over 100 students!
Amanda started formal dance training at age 5 and continued through college.
Amanda holds a degree from Arizona State in Child Development. She brings fun & creativity to her classes.
Amanda believes Dance Instruction should be family friendly and child appropriate think anti-cuties- that Netflix documentary.

Is this Course good for beginners? Or what about someone who has danced before?
Dance Instruction builds upon itself and is taught at a Beginner through Intermediate Level. Because this Course offers Dance Instruction in so many Dance Styles, chances are you will be learning some new moves!
When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
How long do I have access to the course?
